Both flaps of this rather plain jacket almost reach the inner gutter of the book. This effect was undoubtedly a conscious decision by the publishers because each section is chock full of information on other titles in the 'Imperial Series', including Johannes Andersen's Maori Life in Aotea, and E.J. Wakefield's Adventure in New Zealand. So far, the jacket on this title is a close second to the book on John Rutherford. Its condition is very good for something that was printed in 1909.
