Elgin
Cabinet 13
Elgin is a city steeped in history, with a ruined castle on a hill, an award winning museum, and many restored 18th century town houses and wynds.
One claim to fame is that Elgin is the capital of Speyside, a region in Scotland synonymous with whisky. Indeed, there are over 50 distilleries in Moray, the highest concentration of distilleries in Scotland. Those well-known include Glen Moray, and Gordon and MacPhail.
Dunnett’s Land of Scotch is a limited edition of 2,500, of which this is no. 1597. A ‘Linkwood’ malt whisky label from Elgin is also on display.
