True Account of the Whole Proceedings of the Parliament in Ireland
'A Proclamation issued out for a Parliament to be held in Dublin, May 7, no Popish Bishops summoned.' So begins this slim volume which is in essence a record of activities of the Parliament in Ireland. An unsigned letter within, dated from Dublin, the 12th June 1689, notes a general disquiet amongst the local populace, especially against disruptive English soldiers. More unnerving for all, many of the Foot regiments were raw recruits who had never before handled arms.
