Fire-Penny
The emphasis in Otago's poetry publishing has been on southern voices, with works by Ruth Dallas, Cilla McQueen, and Kay McKenzie Cooke featuring. This has leads to some interesting collaborations: McQueen provided the artwork for the cover of Fire-Penny (2005) and when the Press produced A Wind Harp, a CD of her poems with music by 'The Blue Neutrinos', McQueen provided a companion drawing for its cover. OUP have also published companion titles by Ruth Dallas: artist Kathyrn Madill was commissioned to produce an image for the covers of Dallas's Collected Poems and short story collection The Black Horse.
