Te Poutama Māori is an initiative driven by Māori academic staff at the University of Otago, who are committed to supporting research and teaching excellence attuned to Māori values and aspirations on campus. The purpose of Te Poutama Māori is to support the development of Māori academic staff at the University of Otago; that is, staff who are Māori and are engaged in research and/or teaching.
