Dr Mitra joined the Department of Marketing in 2014 as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. She has been involved in a Marsden-funded projects working on Entrepreneurial Networking and Foreign Market Entry Decision Making. Her research interests include entrepreneurial opportunities, the internationalisation of firms and business networks. She is also interested in mobility and travel. Dr Mitra has completed a PhD on 'Mobility and Diaspora Tourism' in 2014.
