The media, history and culture cluster provides students with knowledge about the evolution of mass media, and the power of the media to shape our identities, our everyday lives, and the world in which we live.
Drawing on a range of traditions in critical and cultural studies, students learn about how a range of media ⎯including film, television, and new media ⎯ influence constructions of gender, class, and race in cultures.
