This eResearch-focused event is free for University staff and postgraduate students and will be held in Room 117 of the Commerce Building (Zoom link available below).

It focuses on research being undertaken at the University as well as an update on new/upcoming eResearch services:

• Short presentations by University of Otago researchers, specialist support staff, and some of our Research IT partner organisations, who are using e-research tools and services to help solve a variety of challenges.
• Network with University of Otago researchers, specialist support staff, and staff from some of our Research IT partner organisations (REANNZ and NeSI)

Learn about some of the IT services available to Otago researchers: mid-tier research compute and storage, programming support and training, HPC on NeSI ; the globus data transfer service and Library data management services.

If you’re joining us in person, a light (buffet-style) lunch is included – please register using the above link by 9am on Tuesday, 25 June so we can cater accordingly. This is a hard deadline for catering.
