Exhibition: Artists and Letters, Pictures and Words
This exhibition focuses on correspondence within Hocken Collections’ Ron O’Reilly and Colin and Anne McCahon Papers, alongside art works by Colin McCahon drawn from public and private collections.
The exhibition coincides with the publication of Dear Colin, Dear Ron by Peter Simpson (Te Papa Press) who co-curated the exhibition with Robyn Notman, Hocken’s Head Curator Art and Photography, supported by Curators Kākahu Banks, Anna Blackman and Hope Wilson.
This exhibition is free to attend and open during Hocken open hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm.
The exhibition runs Saturday, 22 June-Saturday, 31 August 2024.
