In this 30-minute Zoom information session, we will introduce a new free online course ‘Career Readiness’, which will help graduate research candidates and early career researchers and academics prepare for career transitions.

The course consists of 12 modules covering self-discovery, career options and practical strategies for job searching and the job application process. The course can be self-paced or completed with the support of peers. The course is expected to take 20-25 hours and can be done in up to 4 months, either through concentrated periods that suit you, or by committing a couple of hours each week, with the option of fortnightly catch-ups with peers. Upon completion of the course and a portfolio, you can receive a Certificate of Completion.

In this Information Session, we will provide more detail about the course and seek volunteers for a pilot, with the course planned to begin on 24 June.

Advance registration required.
