'Israelism' film
The National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies is pleased to present Israelism, a 2023 documentary film that tracks the personal journey of two American Jews raised to support Israel unconditionally as they struggle to reconcile their worldviews, faith and Jewish identity with the reality of Palestinian suffering.
The film offers an insight into a growing community of Jews in America and elsewhere who are campaigning to redefine Judaism's relationship with Israel, and in so doing reveals a deepening generational divide over modern Jewish identity.
