The National Institute of Health Research and Development (NIHRD) of the Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia hosted the 2nd International Symposium on Health Research and Development held in Jakarta on 15th-16th September 2015. School of Pharmacy's Professor Stephen Duffull was invited to attend and present on Modelling in Drug Development.
This symposium was a government initiative to update on research and development of health product for detection, prevention and treatment, including vaccines, drugs and medical devices.
Professor Stephen Duffull visited one of their laboratories while in Jakarta where he meet with one of his previous students. They were able to discuss their projects and hope to collaborate in future.
