Student Health Services provide a full range of primary health care services to students based on the Dunedin campus.

There are several ways to make an appointment with Student Health.

  • You can come in person
  • Call directly on 0800 479 821 or +64 3 479 8212
  • Book through our patient portal – ManageMyHealth (medical and nursing appointments only)

ManageMyHealth phone appTo access our patient portal, you must first complete the Student Health enrolment form – we will then send you a link to activate ManageMyHealth. Student Health has been using the ManageMyHealth secure portal since 2022. Prior to this we used the Health 365 portal. The portal is available via web browsers or a smartphone app.

With ManageMyHealth you are able to book and view upcoming appointments, and view your personal health record, lab results, health summary, allergies, and immunisation records. Two appointment reminders are sent via the email address you have registered with, as well as two SMS messages.

We initially sign students up to ManageMyHealth with their University of Otago student email; if you already have a current account with ManageMyHealth under a personal email address please let us know and the account can be linked. If your home GP doesn’t use ManageMyHeath, we cannot link your account with them.
