Professor Louise Signal, an EDOR member at the University of Otago, Wellington, has been awarded best publication in 2017 by the International Society of Behavioral Nutrition & Physical Activity.
The Kids'Cam team published their findings in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition & Physical Activity in October 2017, showing that New Zealand children are being bombarded with an average of 27 junk food advertisements everyday at school, at home and on the street.
Professor Signal and her team have also been featured in the latest issue of the Otago Magazine. The article outlines the range of findings that are coming out of the ground-breaking Kids'Cam research, which documents the external environment through the eyes of children.
