A Dunedin whānau were featured on Māori Television's current affairs show Native Affairs on Monday September 28th at 8.30pm.
The show focuses on brothers Isaia and James, cousin Karyn and their whānau who carry a mutated copy of the CDH1 gene, meaning that they have a greater than 80% chance of developing stomach cancer at an early age.
CTCR are working on alternative treatments because, as Isaia Piho says "There is only 1 option at this stage - and that's to have your stomach removed".
