In an exciting development for Otago, the Kiribati Alumni Chapter was launched in May. The announcement was made at the networking event for the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Alumni hosted by the New Zealand High Commissioner. Many thanks to Ms Ngaaia Toabwa, President of the University of Otago Kiribati Alumni Chapter, for her enthusiasm to establish this group.
