Former Centre Director Professor Hugh Campbell has co-edited a book looking at the issues surrounding food waste.
Waste Matters: New Perspectives on Food and Society is a collection exploring subjects such as regulation and governance of food systems; dynamics of social practices and what goes on in domestic kitchens; the circulation of food and waste in society and the socio‐technical innovations for waste reduction.
Hugh co-edited the book with David Evans (Lecturer in Sociology and Sustainable Consumption Institute Research Fellow at the University of Manchester, UK) and Anne Murcott ( Professorial Research Associate at the SOAS Food Studies Centre, UK).
