Robert Porteous

Rob manages the Histology unit and is your first point of contact for new Histology work.
Rob completed his BSc in Zoology at the University of Otago in 1991 and has worked in a variety of research roles at AgResearch and the Univeristy of Otago. He has extensive experience in sample preparation and fixation techniques necessary to get the best results for histological and IHC analysis.

Vicky Clark
Medical Laboratory Scientist
Vicky graduated from the University of Otago in 2016 with a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science. She worked at Southern Community Laboratories in Wellington from 2017, dividing her time between the Cytology and Histopathology departments, before joining our Histology Unit at the beginning of 2021.
