I am looking to flat with women who are tidy and enjoy a social house. Preferable age is in their 30s-50s. I am a social person but also like my space at the same time. I am originally from the Middle East and I have finished my PhD three years ago. I like cooking. The rent is $200 and about $30-50 a week for bills including power, gas, and wifi depending on the season and use. The house is in Mornington, one minute from public transport and nine minutes walking distance from the supermarket Woolworths. The kitchen is modern and there is a big garden. Room available in August. Fully furnished room in a bright sunny character villa in North East Valley. The house gets all-day sun, and the garden is full of apples, peaches, and grapes in the summer. The property overlooks the Andy Bay inlet and has two decks: one to enjoy the morning sunshine and the other to relax in Dunner stunner sunsets. The whole house is double-glazed, has a new heat pump in the lounge, and central heating, with radiators in every room. The home is fully furnished.

The room comes with a bed and a built-in wardrobe. The curtains are being replaced with modern blinds and blackouts in (ETA) late April. There is a modern bathroom (toilet, shower/bath) with a second shower in the laundry. There’s also a lovely garden, including a thriving veggie patch, to explore.

Homeowner (female, early 30s) and partner are looking for a flatmate, ideally a post-grad student or someone working full-time. LGBT friendly house. You must be covid vaccinated, and a non-smoker and non-vaper. Previous tenants have shared vegetarian cooking (i.e. turns taken 4-5 nights a week with free weekends), and this would ideally continue when you move in. You are expected to chip in with regular house and garden chores to keep the place clean and tidy.

Flat expenses are approximately $40 a week, which includes power (varies each month), internet, plus shared food (cleaning supplies, pantry staples, veggies). No pets are allowed but applicants must love cats (a very friendly cat currently resides here)! Nearby amenities: Bayfield park is a five minute walk. There are three bus stops within a 5-10min walk & then 20-30min to town. By car, it's 7-15mins to town, cycling is ~15-20min to town. There's parking available on the street.
