Southern Consort of Voices is a chamber choir in Ōtepoti/Dunedin. Our repertoire is varied, usually dividing in four or more parts, and features early music, contemporary music (especially by New Zealand composers), and everything in between!
Currently, Southern Consort is welcoming new members in all voices: sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. If you are interested in joining the choir, please get in contact with our director, Daniel Kelly. You don't need to be a trained singer, but good tuning and the ability to blend are important. We do learn a lot of music, so good music reading skills are highly desirable, as is experience from other choirs.
Our rehearsals are on Monday evenings in North Dunedin, very near the University campus. Find us at facebook.com/SouthernConsortOfVoices, check out southernconsort.org.nz or get in touch at director@southernconsort.org.nz.
