First year and undergraduate scholarships
- University of Otago Pacific peoples Entrance Scholarships - Established to celebrate academic excellence and cultural diversity, these scholarships are intended to encourage the progression of indigenous Pacific students into tertiary study
- University of Otago Study Grants for Maori and Pacific Islands Students - NZ$3,000 scholarship for Māori and Pacific Islands students progressing to their fourth year of study
Postgraduate scholarships
- Division of Humanities Pacific Bridging Scholarships - NZ$10,000 per annum plus payment of compulsory fees
- University of Otago Pacific Islands Masters Scholarship - NZ$16,000 per annum for domestic students of Pacific Islands descent wanting to undertake a thesis-based Masters degree
- University of Otago Pacific Islands Doctoral Scholarship - NZ$30,696 per annum for domestic or international students of Pacific Islands descent wanting to undertake PhD/Professional doctoral study in their chosen field of research
