Best poster will receive a prize of $100 and this will be announced at the end of the conference.
Scope
This is the first conference for Pain@Otago, a research theme comprising researchers from molecular research to public health working together with an aim to reduce the burden of pain on an individual, family, and societal level.
We invite abstract from students at any level (Honours, Masters and PhD) working in any of the pain related area listed below:
- Mechanisms of pain
- Pain management
- Pain education
- Predictors of chronicity
Poster submissions may describe recently completed work or relevant results of work in progress, etc. Moreover, presenting a poster at the conference is a great opportunity to get feedback on work that has not yet been published and to get new collaborations for your research.
Abstract should be maximum of 250 word, single spaced, 12 size font and divided into background/objective, methods, results and conclusion. References are optional. Please submit your abstracts to pain@otago.ac.nz
Poster Session Guidelines
Please put your posters by 10.30am on 25/11/2016. All the poster viewing (along with judges marking the poster) will happen during the lunch time.
Best poster will receive a prize of $100 and this will be announced at the end of the conference.
