Background and interests
Amanda is an American theatre practitioner with a focus in dramaturgy and playwriting.
Favourite US projects include Waitress (American Repertory Theatre, Cambridge, MA – dramaturg), Who Would Be King (Oberon, Cambridge, MA, and Ars Nova, New York, NY – dramaturg), and Little Bits of Light (Hampstead Stage Company, Chicago, IL & U.S. tour – author).
Since moving to New Zealand in 2017, she has devised and directed several shows, including Yellow Coal (devising director & script writer), $19.95 (devising director & script writer), White Men (director), Dayboy (co-director), and Heathers (director).
