Integrated Pharmacy Programme (IPP) facilitator, Ginny Brailsford confesses “I'm a learn-aholic” at New Zealand's National School of Pharmacy 2nd and 3rd year prize giving (Friday 26th February) at the Colquhoun Lecture Theatre, Dunedin Hospital.

Ginny tells the students “it's ok to fail. It's ok to make mistakes” encouraging students to grab opportunities with both hands and to “Accept all offers”.

Ginny is based in Christchurch working as a consultant and educator, and doing locum work and projects. She is the pharmacist on the multidisciplinary Primary Care Liaison Team, working at the interface between community and hospital.

Professor Stephen Duffull welcomed the students back and congratulated them on their achievements in the past year. Professor Duffull presented the awards to students, reminding them that “improving your own ability is the prize”.
