Recently the School of Pharmacy held a 3-Minute Thesis Competition, which was very well supported.
There were nine competitors, across three disciplines, who were judged by an independent team consisting of Associate Professor Peter Dearden (Health Sciences), Steve Ting (Sciences), and Dr Vanessa Ward (Humanities).
First place was awarded to Arnold Lee who spoke on Explodasomes: Operation Cancerbad. Anna Widayanti spoke on Health seeking behaviour of people in Indonesian communities and was given second prize. Third place was then awarded to Momin Mohammad for his talk on Dry powder inhalers for tuberculosis.
