The Dan and Gwen Taylor Fellowship allows us to bring visitors to the programme for stays of about a month. It also allows us to bring visitors for shorter periods to deliver the Dan and Gwen Taylor Lectures.
Daniel (Dan) Taylor was Professor of Philosophy at Otago from 1960 until 1970, having previously taught in Australia and as foundation Professor and Dean at the newly-established Kwame Nkrumah University in Ghana from 1950 until 1960. Gwen Taylor was Lecturer and Senior Lecturer from 1967 until her retirement in 1982.
