Margaret Campbell
Physiotherapist
Margaret is a senior physiotherapist and one of the fourth-year student clinical supervisors. She is experienced in the management of all musculoskeletal presentations, with a special interest in neck and low back pain.
Margaret is a diplomaed McKenzie Method practitioner and lecturer with the McKenzie Institute, teaching their postgraduate courses in New Zealand. She is passionate about delivering physiotherapy care that is person-centred, which considers all aspects of an individual's health and wellbeing and promotes a focus on patient education for self-management.
Loren Davidson
Physiotherapist
Loren Davidson is a physiotherapist with a range of interests, including supporting people with ongoing health challenges such as musculoskeletal conditions and persistent pain experiences. Loren is also collaborating with the Faculty of Dentistry to support people presenting with Temporomandibular Joint ( TMJ ) Disorders, involving pain and/or dysfunction of the jaw.
In addition to her clinical work, Loren is actively involved in physiotherapy-led research aimed towards improving primary care strategies for chronic health challenges. Her honours degree explored opportunities for supporting clinicians and patients in primary care settings, with a specific emphasis on Temporomandibular Disorders.
Matthew Dick

Physiotherapist
Matthew Dick is the Director of Clinics and senior physiotherapist leading a skilled team focused on providing high quality care to the community and supporting clinical training to physiotherapy students.
Matthew has a strong interest in the connection between functional movements and patient experiences of pain and injury. He collaborates with the Faculty of Dentistry to support people with jaw pain and dysfunction, also known as temporomandibular joint disorders. Matthew also provides physiotherapy services for the University of Otago rowing team and supports athletes from High Performance Sport New Zealand rowing.
Matthew is dedicated to clinical excellence in physiotherapy and promoting recovery through contemporary practice to meet each patient's individual needs.
Owen Draper

Being able to improve someone's hauora is what Owen enjoys most about being a physiotherapist. He has had previous experience in private practice and sports. As well as working clinically he also has roles within the School of Physiotherapy as a clinical educator and kaiāwhina Māori.
Gerard Farrell
Physiotherapist
Gerard is one of the postgraduate clinical supervisors and a lead tutor on the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association weekend courses. Gerard has recently completed his PhD investigating the physiological mechanisms of manual therapy on the stress response in those with persistent post-concussion symptoms. Knowledge gained in this thesis has led to a special interest in the management of conditions that may have an underlying stress response physiological dysregulation, also known as dysautonomia. Some conditions that may be characterised by this that Gerard has a special interest in include concussion, persistent post-concussion symptoms, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome or POTS, long COVID, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Nicole Farrell
Physiotherapist
Nicole is interested and enthusiastic about all areas of Physiotherapy. Her background is predominantly musculoskeletal based both in private practice and on the side lines of multiple sporting codes. She has an interest in treating injuries based on directional biases (DMA Clinical Pilates) both in the clinic and gym setting. Her main drive is to educate patients on how important their own strength and conditioning is for injury self-management and prevention.
Clare Kenneally
Physiotherapist
Clare is a senior Physiotherapist, and Student Clinical Supervisor with around 30 years of musculoskeletal experience. Postgraduate qualifications include a PGD in Sports Physiotherapy and a PGC in Acupuncture. Patient education, biomechanical analysis and exercise rehabilitation are areas of interest.
Chris Livesey
Physiotherapist
Chris works in our Balance, Dizziness, and Vertigo Clinic. She has an interest in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation.
Julian O'Hagan
Physiotherapist
Julian has worked in multiple areas of physiotherapy nationally and overseas, predominantly in the health and education sector. He is currently based in our Balance, Dizziness, and Vertigo Clinic, which includes vestibular and concussion assessment, and rehabilitation in the paediatric and adult population. He has an interest in keeping up to date with concussion management and how to apply the polyvagal theory into clinical practice.
Ashleigh Taylor
Physiotherapist
Ashleigh graduated in 2016 and has been involved in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy across a wide variety of codes and levels. She has a special interest in shoulder and knee injury rehabilitation. She has a passion for the value manual therapy has in management of such conditions and given this is currently involved in post graduate study in orthopaedic manual therapy.
