Overview
Following concussion, subjectively reported symptoms may reflect impairment of a range of subsystems. Identifying most appropriate treatment approaches can therefore be difficult for clinicians and assessment overly lengthy. Based on recent studies it may be possible as with other conditions such as idiopathic neck pain, to identify those suited to neck rehabilitation using a simplified physical assessment.
Data collection for this project is currently underway. We are seeking a highly motivated student with a background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, alternately we are seeking an individual with a health science background with strong research experience.
