Are you a rural New Zealand registered physiotherapist currently treating people with stroke or long-term conditions?

This research will explore how New Zealand physiotherapists promote and prescribe physical activity for people living with stroke and long term conditions. Physiotherapists are well placed to promote, prescribe, and support people living with long term conditions to participate in physical activity. Current research has explored physiotherapists physical activity promotion practices in urban primary and tertiary care environments however, evidence is scarce in rural settings.

You are eligible to participate if you are:

  1. A rural New Zealand Registered physiotherapist
  2. Currently treating people with long term conditions in any rural setting

If you are interested to participate you will:

  • Be invited to participate in an on-line zoom or telephone interview (approx. 45-90 minutes)
  • Complete a short demographic questionnaire (approx. 5-10 minutes)
  • Have an opportunity to review the collective results and add further reflections (approx. 20 minutes)
