Introduction
Physical Activity (PA) is of fundamental importance for mental, physical, economic, cultural and social wellbeing.
The University has researchers from many departments and perspectives who study PA and its relation to health and wellbeing at individual and societal levels.
The overarching goal of this group is to be an effective interdisciplinary network of PA, health and wellbeing researchers.
The network will:
- Improve the mutual awareness and perspectives of other researchers and wider communities,
- provide increased knowledge and communication for PA research and researchers,
- lead to the establishment of research with and for healthy, (non-communicable) diseased and disabled populations.
