Overview
A number of dedicated time-series database systems (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, BTrDB) have been developed in recent years. I am seeking students to undertake projects investigating how to optimise and extend these time-series database systems. In particular, I am keen that the time-series database research connect to and support other projects I am involved with that have produced time-series datasets, such as within energy use monitoring.
