Undergraduate students can complete a major in Psychology as part of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, including the university's combined degree programs (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce and Science) and double degrees (e.g. BSc/LLB). The choice of degree depends on which other papers you would like to take alongside your Psychology studies.
Psychology Major and Minor requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in Psychology
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Psychology
- Psychology as a minor for a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Students who have completed a degree in another discipline may qualify for entry to postgraduate courses in Psychology by completing a Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad). This is a 120-point course normally comprising at least 90 points of Psychology 300-level papers including PSYC 311. Individuals who want to enrol in a single psychology paper can apply through the Certificate of Proficiency.
