Religious Studies image There are several ways to include papers on religion in your degree. Many students simply take one or more papers alongside their other major subjects.

If you are interested in including an internship in your degree and wish to find out what kinds of placements are available for students in Religious Studies, please contact the Religion Programme Administrator (bottom of page).

Studying by distance

You don't need to be on campus to take our classes. All undergraduate papers are also offered by distance. It is even possible to complete an entire degree by distance.

Alternatively, if you are enrolled on campus and have a lecture clash with other papers, you also have the option of taking a Religion paper by distance, and so completing the paper online in your own time.

To enrol for a paper by distance, just select that option in eVision. The paper will be listed with DL (for Distance Learning) code on your programme.

Religion major

Specialise in the study of religion by taking it as the major subject of either the:

Major subject requirements for a BA and BA(Hons) in Religious Studies
Select 'Choose a programme' and then  BA or BA (Hons) from the drop-down menu.

Religion minor

Diplomas

If you are a graduate in another discipline, and want to commence research in the study of religion, you may apply for a Diploma for Graduates (DipGrad).
