Papers are the building blocks of your degree. A paper is a fixed amount of work in certain aspects of a subject at a particular level. The first papers you take are 100-level papers. You then move on to 200-level and 300-level papers. Most of your 300-level papers will be in your major (specialisation) subject.
Note:
Students are exempt from COMP 161 if they have gained entry to COMP 162 by passing COMP 151 with a grade of at least B or via an Advanced Placement Test. INFO 310 is the prerequisite for INFO 301.
Only INFO2xx papers are regarded as INFO 200-level papers.
