Liza Bergantino Mitu
Liza is the Tautiaki-Piki at Studholme College. Liza joins us from Helen Lowry Hall, a residential hall at Te Herenga Waka (Victoria University of Wellington) where she held the role of Tautiaki. She brings a wealth of experience in education and pastoral care, having previously held a wellbeing role at Evans Bay Intermediate, and a specialist teacher role at Aotea College in Porirua. She has also spent some time in Australia as the Director of Senior Boarding at St Vincent’s Catholic College in Sydney.
In her own words, Liza has felt that Ōtepoti is a second after her boys went through the University of Otago and having such a memorable time.
In Liza’s downtime she enjoys watching sports, spending time with whanau and friends, a strong coffee and a good laugh. Liza’s two labradors, Louie and Bear will be residing at Studholme.
