Sarah's past work experience has been as a primary school teacher, a curriculum advisor working with teachers in both primary and secondary schools, and, since 2000, as an academic staff developer in universities in Australia and New Zealand. As Principal Adviser, Distance Learning, Sarah is based in the Higher Education Development Centre, working across the University to support and develop distance learning policy and practice. Sarah's research is in teaching, learning, curriculum and evaluation in higher education settings, with a specific focus on distance education, technology education, student evaluations and teacher professional development.
