Admission ad eundem statum means admission 'at an equivalent level'.
There are three categories of Admission ad eundem statum:
Admission at Entrance level
For students applying on the basis of one of the following:
- Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) from a New Zealand secondary school or from an overseas secondary school
- International Baccalaureate (IB) from a New Zealand secondary school or from an overseas secondary school
- Australian high school ranking
- other overseas entrance qualifications
- an approved Foundation Studies course
Fee
A non-refundable administration fee of $93.00 will normally be charged for applications under admission ad eundem statum at Entrance level.
Admission at Graduate level
For students who have completed a degree or equivalent qualification either
- overseas, or
- at a non-university tertiary institution in New Zealand

For students who have university-level passes from an overseas institution or from a non-university institution in New Zealand.
RPL Credit
In certain cases it is possible for students to have prior non-credentialled learning (i.e. learning which has not been formally recognised with a qualification or other documented record) recognised for the purposes of admission to a course or programme.

A non-refundable administration fee of $93.00 will normally be charged for applications under admission ad eundem statum on the basis of tertiary-level passes.
