Join us for a range of seminars at the Union Main Common Room:
- Learn about the Otago Global Student Exchange Programme.
- Attend a region focused seminar, highlighting all options in that region.
- Learn about academics, how to fit in an exchange semester/year to your Otago degree.
- Meet students on exchange at Otago, and Otago students who have recently returned from their time overseas.

Other Sessions
- Tūrangawaewae, Pōkai Whenua - 10am, 5 August. All you need to know about the Indigenous exchange programme for Māori students at Otago.
- Global Internships - 10am, 6 August. Make the Most of a Global Experience for Personal and Career Success. A global internship or a global exchange can help you to stand out from the crowd. This session will discuss ways to find an internship overseas and also the transferable skills you develop from an overseas experience.
- Funding your Exchange - 2pm, 6 August. Average costs; scholarships and awards available to Otago exchange students; tips on saving towards your exchange.
- Academic Planning - 2pm, 7 August. The Student Development team will share with you best practice as you plan a semester or year study overseas.
- Otago Global Info Session - 1pm, 5 to 8 August. This session provides an overview on the Otago Global Student Exchange Programme. It covers the application process, course credits and seeking academic advice, scholarships and awards available, and choosing host institutions. (Info Sessions outside the Global Opportunities Week)
- Talk Exchange - 11am to 1pm, 14 to 17 August - Come along to talk to an Otago Global Exchange Adviser about possible options available to you; talk to Otago students who have recently returned from a semester or year exchange; talk to students on exchange at Otago in semester two 2024. No appointment needed!
