Semester dates

  • Fall term: September–December
  • Spring term: January–May

Course load and minimum unit requirements

  • Minimum Course Load = 15 ECTS credits per semester

Students cannot mix courses from different specialisations (unless specified otherwise), different campuses or different levels of study.

Accommodation

EM Normandie has its own online housing platform, Studapart, where students can find offers from property owners, student residences, agencies or the school community across their 6 campuses. Students can connect to Studapart once they’ve received their EM Normandie login. The HUB will also contact students studying in Le Havre and Caen about reservations for the CROUS student residences. They are government owned and usually low cost. Please be aware of potential scams in the private housing market. Please also note that there is no on-campus housing available.

Housing insurance, Multi-Risques Habitation (MRH), is compulsory in France and starts from 39 Euros a year, regardless of where in France the accommodation is.

Living in Dubai

EM Normandie, sponsor of its students in Dubai, has partnered with Myriad to offer secure and high standard accommodation. Myriad is a residence exclusively reserved for students located in the heart of Dubai. Please note: the number of places reserved for EM Normandie students is limited.

If you are studying at one of the French campuses, Assurance Maladie (French Social Security) is compulsory but also free of charge.

The university

Founded in 1871, EM Normandie is one of the first French “Grandes Écoles” and one of the 38 management schools that are members of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) among the 400 business schools in France. The School prepares responsible, agile managers capable of exercising their skills in a multitude of fields and in an international environment: entrepreneurship, logistics, supply chain, human resources management, international trade, marketing, finance, new technologies, etc.

Caen

Only 2 hours from Paris, Caen is known for its dynamic student life, cultural venues and famous student carnival, the largest in Europe.

Paris

Le Havre

Want to study on the waterfront?  Located a short distance north-west from Paris, Le Havre is an international metropolis with one of the largest ports in Europe, but also a charming seaside resort in the city.

Dubai

The campus is in the Dubai Knowledge Park near Palm Jumeirah Island. It also faces the headquarters of major IT multinationals like Dell Technologies, Cisco Systems, and Huawei.

Dublin

The Dublin campus, which opened in 2017, is strategically located between the booming business centre and the city's liveliest neighbourhoods, the ideal place to capture the atmosphere of this atypical, cosmopolitan and dynamic city.

Oxford

Just a stone’s throw from the world’s oldest and most prestigious Anglo-Saxon university, the Oxford campus is located in an historic setting in the heart of the city only 2 hours north-west of London and its financial centre.
