The University, City and Region
The University
Mahidol University was founded in 1943. With its goal being the "Wisdom of the Land", Mahidol University has continuously strived for educational excellence, outstanding research and global outlook. The University has three campuses in the Bangkok metropolitan area. The College of Management has an office tower in central Bangkok, one of the most dynamic and colourful cities in Asia.
Bangkok
Bangkok welcomes more visitors than any other city in the world and it doesn't take long to realise why. Bangkok is a city of contrasts with action at every turn; marvel at the gleaming temples, catch a tuk tuk along the bustling Chinatown or take a longtail boat through floating markets. Food is another Bangkok highlight, from local dishes served at humble street stalls to haute cuisine at rooftop restaurants.
