Prevailing adaptability and resilient tenacity have refined our esteemed institute to be steadfastly eminent and estimable. Today NTU consists of 16 colleges, 58 departments, 146 graduate institutes, as well as 34 Master's and PhD degree programs. NTU 's programs cover a wide array of disciplines across science, arts, and the humanities, with up to 8,000 courses made available for selection each semester.
As one of the safest cities in the world, Taipei is the perfect place to experience a vibrant metropolis. NTU ’s main campus is right next to shopping districts, night markets, and other exciting establishments. There are many places to visit and the city is safe to explore even late at night. If you want an escape from the lively noises, Taipei is surrounded by beautiful mountains with hiking trails, most of which are accessible by the city’s reliable public transportation system.
