The University, City and Region
The University
The Warsaw School of Economics, established in 1906, is the oldest university of economics and management in Poland and one of the leading universities in Eastern Europe. Don't be fooled by the name of the school, SGH teaches a lot more than just Economics! SGH offers many programmes taught in English including Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance and Banking, International Relations, Information Systems, Politics and History.
The City of Warsaw
Warsaw is an extraordinary city, in which historic buildings, palaces, churches and architectural complexes, destroyed during World War II, have been reconstructed with great care. It has a lively arts centre and is the country's cultural capital. Numerous theatres, cinemas and dozens of museums and galleries contribute to its rich cultural offerings.
