Phil Bremer
Professor Phil Bremer teaches in the Department of Food Science at the University of Otago. Phil received a Fulbright Travel Award in 1989 to assist his Post-Doctoral Studies at California State University Long Beach, California and Montana State University, Bozeman, Montana.
“I greatly valued the opportunity to carry out research alongside a range of leading scientists in laboratories equipped with the most up to date technologies. During my three years in the USA I established a number of research collaborations and friendships that continue to this day. I greatly appreciated the help and support provided by the Fulbright Award.”
As the Fulbright New Zealand Campus Adviser for the University of Otago, Phil is available to provide information about the Fulbright awards and is happy to discuss his exchange experiences with students or staff who are considering apply for a Fulbright award.
