Overview
Increasingly, forensic investigations have come to rely on the techniques of forensic biology to provide vital evidence in homicides, violent crimes, disaster identification and even minor crimes. These techniques are also commonly used in a wide range of professional areas such as the investigation of crimes against humanity, forensic archaeology and wildlife protection.
Taught at Summer School, FORB 201 Forensic Biology, is an introduction to forensic biology. Trace and contact evidence, DNA, body fluids, traumatology, forensic entomology, toxicology and fibre analysis.
