Te Tumu has gained an international reputation as one of the leading places to learn about Māori, Pacific and Indigenous languages, cultures and societies. Our multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teaching curriculumn and research interests allow students from all over the world to work alongside academics with national and international reputations, where you will be inspired and supported in your journey to obtain higher qualifications and to advance indigenous knowledge.
We offer on-line courses for the taught Master of Indigenous Studies and the Honours and Postgraduate Diploma programmes, as well as thesis-only Masters and PhD degrees. Staff are also able to supervise students wishing to write their report/dissertation/thesis in te reo Māori.
