- William Henry Adams, a US Marine, was in New Zealand during 1943. He was then 32 years of age. We believe he was born in New Mexico, and spent some time in North Carolina. William saw action in Guadalcanal and had deep shrapnel scars in his back. He was very tall and slim and of Native American ancestry. We would welcome any information about William.
