The second biennial symposium was held at St. Margaret's College, 333 Leith Street, University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand on April 23 - 24. Our international speakers were Cliffton E. Barry, III, PhD., and Jo White, MD. The Symposium was well attended with participation of more than 80 infectious diseases researchers from at least ten institutions throughout New Zealand.
Two main themes were discussed in this years conference:
- Mycobacterial diseases
- Vaccine discovery and development
