The Integrated Data Research Group is a collection of University of Otago Wellington researchers using big data to answer health and social research questions. Our research interests span a range of areas including housing, mental health, and health economics.
Our researchers have extensive experience with the Integrated Data Infrastructure, a large collection of linked microdata about New Zealand individuals and households. We have a Statistics New Zealand secure Datalab onsite at University of Otago Wellington for working with IDI and other Statistics NZ data.
We also have expertise with many of the Ministry of Health's national collections including NMDS, pharmaceutical collection, and PRIMHD.
The Integrated Data Research Group is co-led by Dr Sheree Gibb, Research Professor Nevil Pierse, Dr Ruth Cunningham, Dr Andrea Teng, and Dr James Stanley. Please contact one of us for more information.
