Student Computing Locations and Access Hours
24 Hour Lab
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is accessible from the Main Foyer, Academic Block, Level C. The room contains 16 PCs and one MFD (printer-copier-scanner). Access is by security card at all times. Wireless is available.
Main Lab
The bulk of the PCs are in the Main C10 Lab on Level C, accessible through the Library. The room also contains one MFD. This room is part of the secure Library study space - access is by security card at all times. Access is during the hours the Library is open. Wireless is available.
The Main Lab is also used for teaching sessions and exams. These are notified by a notice on the door. Please use another Lab during those times.
Library Level D
There are 18 computers dedicated for student use on level D of the Library (desks to your right on entering). There are also two MFDs and a kiosk which can be used to add money to your printing\photocopying account. Access is during the hours the Library is open. Wireless and SNS outlets are available.
RT Lab
This lab is solely for the use of the Radiation Therapy students. It contains 18 PCs. There is also one PC and one MFD in RT30 across the corridor.
The lab is open 24/7. This lab is used as a teaching space for the Radiation Therapy course.
Hutt Lab
The Hutt lab is in the Hutt Teaching Facility on the second floor of the Clock Tower Building. It contains seven PCs and there is an MFD in the corridor. It is available to any UOW student working at Hutt Hospital. Wireless is available.
Training Room
The training room is for training sessions only and cannot be used for general computing.
