The Art of Palliative Medicine - 2017 Semester 2
My artwork is predominantly acrylic on canvas. I have chosen this medium to convey my experience with my patient Mr X, as I am familiar with this type of visual arts and I enjoy it very much. I believe a painting can portray much more than what is shown as objects through colours and styles. My art work is relevant to my patient Mr X's happiest moment in life. His happiest moment was 'when the All Blacks won.' I wanted to draw the memory he cherished or one that made him happy; this was his favourite moment in life.
